WHAT IS A ROOT CANAL?

Root canal treatment is a process to repair and save a damaged or infected tooth

When decay or damage extends to the center of your tooth, known as the pulp, a root canal treatment may be needed

The procedure is done to remove infected pulp tissue and close off the affected tooth to have your mouth be pain free again and restored to a healthy smile!

SIGNS THAT YOU MIGHT NEED A ROOT CANAL

  • Jaw discomfort, swelling or inflammation

  • Extreme tooth sensitivity

  • Bump on gum that resembles a pimple 

  • Red, swollen, or puffy gums
